Angry birds - The best way to kill time...! Angry bird is one game, the popularity of which is growing at every second. The latest version of the game is 'Angry Birds Rio' , might be the most popular game till date..!!

As you can see, its based on the latest movie called Rio. The Rovio mobile, the creators of angry birds, tweeted as below....

After seeing the tweet, Mobile Entertainment guys contacted Rovio mobiles to ask them what the hell did they mean by that tweet. Rivio said "It means Angry Birds Rio reaches 10 million downloads in 10 days since it was launched..!!!!"

Unlike music or fashion industries, in the world of technology we rarely see something which is considered as old coming into picture again. But in this case it has..! sometimes its very difficult let go of something when something newer comes in, even though it's better than the old one. Typewriter is one such thing. Word lens - An amazing iPhone app

Am so caught up in preparations of my exams that I am not being able to update my blog...:( But what to do...... this iPhone app is so amusing, cool, amazing ...oh.. am running out of adjectives..:p that I couldn't resist sharing with you all.

The app is called the "word Lens" .. Its an instant offline translator that uses a camera phone...!!
I have not got much time to type everything..:( So am just sharing with you the video. This video will provide all the information regarding the app. Enjoy..:) N see you after the exams...:p

Motorola sues Apple...!!??

Motorola sues Apple..!! I think its like "clash of the titans"...!! Anyways let me provide you with some details regarding why this technology giants are fighting...:)

You may be aware of the fact that some days before, on Friday oct 1st Microsoft had filed a complaint against Motorola regarding patent infringement. Microsoft, in its complaint in International Trade Commission and U.S. fedaral court had said Motorola android phones infringe nine patents. Well ... that's a week old news.. But now Motorola has sued Apple for the same reason...'patent infringement'...!!

Motorola has filed the complaint with US International Trade Commission and courts in Illinois, where the company has its headquarters. Motorola said in its complaint that, Apple's iPhone, iPad, ipod Touch and certain macintosh computers, infringe 18 patents, which are related to early-stage innovations developed by Motorola in key technology areas.

The patents relate to antenna design, wireless email, proximity sensing, software application management, location-based services and multi-device synchronization, Motorola said in a statement.

Motorola has asked ITC to investigate Apple's patent infringement issues and and also to bar the importation and sale of infringing products in the United States.

What Kirk Dailey, Motorola Mobility's corporate vice president of intellectual property says regarding the sue is "We have extensively licensed our industry-leading intellectual property portfolio, consisting of tens of thousands of patents in the US and worldwide.After Apple's late entry into the telecommunication market, we engaged in lengthy negotiations, but Apple has refused to take a license, We had no choice but to file these complaints to halt Apple's continued infringement"

So lets wait n see where would this fight lead and what could be the output..:)

But FYI, such law suits are more usual amoung the technology giants than you can imagine...!
As I said above, Microsoft has sued Motorola, now Motorola is suing Apple. Apple is also currently being sued by Nokia and as an answer Apple has come up with a countersuit against Nokia. HTC and apple are also currently suing each other over android phones......!!

There are lot more..!! I think its kind of funny..how these giants in the software and technology world are fighting each other. isn't it..??
